I’m Lisa, an award-winning newborn, maternity, baby and family photographer based in Rugby, Warwickshire.
I have worked as a professional photographer since 2008 and have specialised in newborn and family photography since 2013. I have had the privilege of photographing hundreds of babies and families, creating beautiful images that preserve the moments that pass far too quickly. My sessions are relaxed, friendly and designed to help every member of your family feel comfortable in front of the camera.
My private photography studio is based in Hillmorton, Rugby, and is where I photograph my maternity, newborn, baby and family sessions.
The studio is a comfortable, child-friendly space with room for little ones to play and settle before their session begins.
Complimentary drinks and toilet facilities are available in the studio, so please make yourself at home.
The studio can accommodate up to 15 people (18 at a squish), making it suitable for larger families, individuals and small corporate groups. If you would prefer an outdoor session, we are also only minutes away from beautiful parks, woodlands and the Warwickshire countryside.
Well, I’m a fun-loving mum of two in my mid-forties who loves life! My passions outside of photography are, of course, my children, who I love to bits. If you’ve seen my work, you’ll probably have seen countless portraits of them, although photographing them is becoming harder as they get older!
My other favourite things include comfy shoes, hiking in the mountains and the Lakes, listening to acoustic music, especially Teddy Swims, Newton Faulkner and Eva Cassidy, seeing family and friends, paddleboarding, kickboxing, BBQs, eating out, new camera equipment, new props and baskets, and travelling whenever we get the chance.
I also love life’s simple pleasures: boiled eggs on a Sunday morning, warm sunshine streaming through the bedroom window, a hot cup of tea on a cold day, winter woollies, camping, hiking up hills, watching the sunset, festivals and dancing.
Oh, and last but certainly not least, there’s my amazing husband, Paul. He’s my partner in crime and makes me laugh every single day. He used to work alongside me at weddings, but since I no longer photograph them, he has returned to his roots in martial arts and now runs HKP Martial Arts. I spend a lot of my time there photographing the club and its members.
