Choosing a photographer can be a daunting task… so look around and find someone you are comfortable with and trust. I am a Newborn Photographer in Rugby, Warwickshire.
Newborn photography is more than “just” photography: it not only requires specialist techniques and safety training, it also requires the ability to connect with the baby and ensure they are happy and relaxed throughout the session.

Bringing your child into this World is one of the greatest joys and should be celebrated . Your child is a priceless gift and you will want to remember their teeny tiny fingers and toes, sleepy eyes and squishy cheeks as those moments pass too quickly . Lisa Scott Photography will help you capture and cherish those precious memories for a lifetime.
My newborn sessions are £65 and last between 2 and 4 hours.
Your images are then edited and only the best are selected for your final gallery.
You will then be invited back to the studio for a viewing and ordering appointment, so you can view the different products and see the images you would like to purchase.
Your session fee does not include any products or images this is for the image and editing for your session. For a full product pricelist please get in touch.
F.A.Q.
As we never know when baby is going to arrive I aim to pre-book a session a week after your due day. However saying that this can be moved. With every pre-booked session I will always make sure we get you into the session before baby is 2 weeks old. Why? Newborns are more sleepy at this time. If baby is older there are certain poses that I would not use. However, if baby is that little bit older, there are still loads of poses that can be done to make an amazing gallery for older babies.
I have a number of props and outfits we can use in your session. If you have seen any props or ideas you like please let me know. I prepare all sessions and have the sets arranged before you walk into the studio. Have a look at your house and your decore as it is possible to match your colour pallet from home into your photos.
In an ideal world, 2 hours. However I will ask you to save up to 4 hours. If baby sleeps well the session can go very smoothly and all photos can be done. However some babies need more feeds or extra cuddles and if this happens we have time to do this. Every session is led by the baby and if we need to wait a bit longer to get them into a nice sleep that is what we do.
I turn all your images around within 10-14 days. A viewing session can be arranged and you are able to come back to the studio to see your images. If you would like to purchase anything this can be decided on this day at the viewing.
Baby sessions are not fast nor quick, but I try to make them as relaxed as possible. It’s not up to me to rush baby, so I take the lead from the baby. If extra time is needed for feeding, back rubs or cuddles then it is done. The session moves around the baby and your family.
