1. Definitions
“Lisa Scott Photography” means Photography of Weddings, portraits and special events. Deerings Road, Hillmorton, Rugby. “The Client” means any person, body of persons, firm or Company with whom Lisa Scott Photography enters into a contract for the sale of goods or provision of services by Lisa Scott Photography.
2. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
All contracts and transactions between Lisa Scott Photography and the Client whether made orally or in writing are subject to these terms and conditions which shall be deemed to be incorporated into any contract between Lisa Scott Photography and all or any of its Clients.
3. Cancellation Fees / Overruns
If a booking is cancelled by the Client within 24 hours Lisa Scott Photography reserves the right to charge the full fee for the session. If a booking is cancelled within seven working days of the session Lisa Scott Photography reserves the right to charge 50% of the fee. If payment has been made you have forfeited the right to rebook. (In some circumstances with regards to illness/sickness please contact for more information) Cake Smash sessions do not apply to this, full payment is due on booking. If booking has not been cancelled within 48 hours you will forfeit the whole amount (due to cake preparations)
4. Vouchers
Vouchers can be booked and given as presents on condition that payment is due in advance. In cases of special offers vouchers need to be paid for before the expired date. All vouchers have to be booked within 3 months of date of issue and redeemed within 6 months from date of purchased, if these are not redeemed you shall forfeit any session time or monies paid in advance. Any prints or products included in a voucher need to be ordered within 7 days of album going live. If prints have not been ordered by this date you forfeit the prints or products.
5. Payment Terms
Booking fees are due on confirmation at time of booking, to reserve your date and time of each session. Lisa Scott Photography will not save any dates until the deposit has been paid and the Client is in receipt of a confirmation form. Full payment is then due on the day of the session. If payment is not received at the session photos will not be released until all payment has been made.
6. Copyright and Ownership
In accordance with the Copyright, Designs & Patents Act 1988, the copyright of all images created by Lisa Scott Photography is owned by Lisa Scott Photography. Unless Lisa Scott Photography gives written authorisation (on disk of images), the Client is forbidden by law to copy any images created by Lisa Scott Photography and agrees that all photographic reprints, digital duplications or copies of any type made from images created by Lisa Scott Photography shall only be carried out by Lisa Scott Photography.
7. Privacy
Lisa Scott Photography acknowledges that in the performances of the services the client may not wish for any images to be shown or shared on social networking sites without permission from the client. Photos will/can be used for advertising on Lisa Scott Photography web site and advertising materials.
8. Damage to Equipment
Any damage to provided equipment is to be repaired at the clients expense, and the client will also be responsible for any loss of earnings whilst repairs are undertaken.
9. Booking fee and Payment
The customer shall make a booking fee to Lisa Scott Photography to book and save the date or event. This booking fee is non-refundable.
10. Viewing Images
Within 2 weeks from your date of photoshoot or 3 weeks from the date of wedding your images will be released on private web site. Social networking sites and photo sharing sites will have Lisa Scott Photography logo on all images. All free images agreed on booking will need to be placed no later than 7 days after album has gone live or you will forfeit your right for your free image..
11. Liability
The Client agrees that in all dealings with Lisa Scott Photography has public insurance and professional indemnity.
12. Illness/sickness
In the event that Lisa Scott Photography is sick on the day of a wedding, a replacement photographer will be used or a full refund will be given.
13. Prices & Terms
The Photographer reserves the right to amend both Prices and these Terms and Conditions without prior notice
14. Purchasing of products
Should you wish to purchase any products from Lisa Scott Photography you are entitled to 1 years warranty on all wall art. When you purchase any digital files on a USB stick or DVD you are purchasing the rights of the digital files and not the USB stick or DVD. Digital files can be copied therefore no refunds will be given on any digital files.
15. Raw Files
Raw files are never given out. only Jpeg files are given out. This will never change, if you are looking to have the RAW files please do not book with Lisa Scott Photography.
16. Discounts
Please note Lisa Scott Photography does not offer discounts. Please make sure you have checked the price list before showing up for your session. It is the customers responsibility to check that the price list is within their range.
